The World Wrestling Federation will be taking over the
airwaves at MTV in the coming weeks.
Several Federation Superstars were involved in a shoot
for the network's claymation series "Celebrity
Deathmatch" prior to the SmackDown! tapings on Tuesday
in Phoenix. Superstars have appeared on the show
before, but this time, it'll really be them, instead
of their clay forms.
Mick Foley will appear and act as the host of the
"Celebrity Deathmatch/WWF Special," which will air at
10 p.m. on Thursday, September 21. He will introduce
the matches, and, possibly, offer his unique thoughts
on the celebrities involved.
Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, Lita, the Dudley Boyz,
Kurt Angle and the Hardy Boyz also filmed vignettes
that will be shown in between the in-ring action, as
part of a "Celebrity Deathmatch" marathon that MTV
will be airing the weekend of Sept. 30-Oct. 31.
Foley is not the only superstar who has appeared on
"Deathmatch" before. In the show's first season, Stone
Cold Steve Austin, who has also appeared as a guest
commentator, defeated Vince McMahon. After McMahon
slammed the Rattlesnake through the ring, Austin
recovered and broke the Chairman's back with a Stunner
for the win. In Foley's match, he beat fellow
best-selling author Earnest Hemmingway.
Also, look forward to seeing other superstars on MTV
much more in the near future.
Next up, Edge & Christian teamed up with X-Pac to face the Hardy Boyz and Chris Jericho in six-man action.
Jeff Hardy hit a Swanton Bomb on Christian, but X-Pac was the legal man. X-Pac was able to hit the X-Factor on Jeff for the pin. Photos (only one more...of old Lita) and a poll are all at www.wwf.com.

Smackdown Official Review:
Each and every one of these men will be on SmackDown! this Thursday, and they will all no doubt be looking to raise the stakes with Unforgiven just 10 days away! Will Commissioner Foley be able to control all the chaos? Find out on SmackDown!
Two matches have already been signed for SmackDown! In a six-man tag, Edge, Christian and X-Pac will face the Hardy Boyz and Chris Jericho. Also, Steve Blackman will defend his Hardcore Championship against Perry Saturn!
All that, plus Triple H, The Rock, Kane and the Undertaker will be in action this Thursday on UPN -- it's SmackDown!
And related...
Chyna and Eddie Guerrero will probably officially split either at Unforgiven, or a little after. I am hearing that Eddie has filmed a few scenes in which he demanded that Chyna be taken out of the issue, or something to that effect. The news stated that they would air "for the next couple weeks." With only one more Raw is War before Unforgiven, it suggests that the two could call it quits after Unforgiven, possible when Bad Ass Billy Gunn returns.
Added a lot of new info in the appearances section... Another angle being tossed around the innards of the WWF is that of Mona aligning with the RTC, appearing in long gowns with no cleavage, and feuding with the other women, especially Lita. This moral vs. oral angle is a near duplicate of that which is being done in RollerJam.
Next up, Lita defended her Women's Title against Ivory. The fiery redhead took quite a beating from Ivory, and just as Ivory was going to get a pin, she was distracted by Naked Man! As Ivory stood in astonishment, Lita floored her and then nailed her with a moonsault to retain her title! Also see: and vote for either the Hardyz or Lita's match here: Vote
-The Hardys were at Raw this week, but weren't used because of nagging injuries. Matt has sore ribs from the TLC match at the PPV and Jeff turned his ankle last week doing a run-in while wearing "the wrong shoes." They wrestled at the house shows this weekend as advertised despite the nagging injuries, but weren't ask to wrestle at Raw so they could rest.
-The WWF's new "Tables, Ladders, Chairs" videotape match it to no. 1 on the Billboard "Recreational Sports Video" charts in its second week on the charts. It debuted at no. 3 on the charts last week. It is outselling the new Steve Austin video, "Lord of the Ring" which finished no. 4 this week after debuting at no. 12 last week. The WWF holds eight of the top ten spots on that chart and 14 of the top 20. Juggalo Championshit Wrestling finished at no. 13 in its 15th week on the charts while Xtreme Wrestling holds position no. 10 and no. 15 with its two videos.
-Raw pictures and full results up tomorrow afternoon. I can tell you now that the Hardyz are the #1 contenders for the belts, and Lita is still champ.
My thoughts on the subject are this: they will get Trish deeply involved with Lita, again since the fans were all over that angle, where as somebody like Ivory isn't as popular. Also, Ivory is supposed to start doing some announcing for smaller WWF shows like Metal and Heat, so she may not have time for a fued with Lita.

Matt whips Chaz into the corner, and Chaz kicks Matt in the face. Chaz then trash talks Lita, and Lita tries to get in, but the referee stops her as Lo Down double teams Matt Hardy. Lo Down gives Matt a double flap jack, and then D'Lo pins Matt for a two count. D'Lo gives Matt a body slam, and then D'Lo goes for an elbow drop, but Matt moves out of the way. D'Lo knocks Jeff off the apron, and Lita tags herself in, and Lita goes off the top rope with a flying body press, and D'Lo catches her and gives her a power slam. D'Lo tags in Ivory, and Ivory pins Lita for a two count. Ivory stomps away on Lita as she's down on the mat, and then she picks Lita up on her back.
The fans chant for Lita, and then Ivory slams Lita down to the mat. Ivory pins Lita for a two count, and Matt Hardy breaks up the pin. All six get in the ring, and Jeff pairs off with D'Lo as Matt pairs off with Chaz. Lita and Matt Hardy double team Lo Down and Ivory and then Jeff goes to jump off of Matt's back at D'Lo, but D'Lo catches Jeff with the Sky High! Lita spears Ivory and then she hammers away on her as she's down. Lo Down take care of the Hardys and then they go after Lita. They grab her by the hair, and then they whip her off the ropes and they go for a double clothesline, but they block it.
The Hardys get in the ring, and Lita and the Hardys give Lo Down a triple clothesline! Lita goes off the top rope with a hurricanrana on D'Lo Brown, and then Jeff Hardy jumps over the top rope to the outside of the ring onto D'Lo as he bails out. Lita and Ivory are left in the ring, and Lita gives Ivory the twist of fate, and then she sets Ivory u pin the middle of the ring. Lita gives Ivory the moon sault, and then she pins her for a three count to get the win! - thanks powerwrestling.com for the report
The Women's Title has finally been put on someone the fans love (Lita), but there's still a problem in that she has virtually no challengers. Ivory and Jacqueline are all accomplished wrestlers, but the fans don't care about their characters at all right now. It just goes to show that it takes two to create a successful program. Once more angles and characters are created for the other ladies, it will be easier to spark women's feuds that will actually create some fan interest. There is a good chance the WWF will restart the Trish/Lita feud just because the reaction from the fans was arguably the best for a female/female angle. On another note do not look for Stephanie McMahon to get involved in the womens division.
all from wwf.com:
Mick Foley, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, Lita, the Dudley Boyz, Kurt Angle and the Hardy Boyz will appear on "Celebrity Deathmatch" next week.
Edge & Christian then hit the ring, saying they had nothing to do with Stone Cold’s assault last November. They called the incident "heinosity to the max," and said that if they had a time machine, then they would go back in time and stop the incident from taking place. Then they revealed that they do have a time machine; in fact, they had recently traveled to the future to bring back the Hardyz Boyz and Lita, circa 2050. Out came two old men and an old woman dressed in the Hardy Boyz and Lita’s outfits! Edge was then about to spear all three when Commissioner Foley came out, and said that Edge & Christian’s match against the Hardys at Unforgiven would be held within the confines of a 15-foot steel cage! The real Hardys and Lita then came out to kick some Edge & Christian butt with a triple suplex.

WWF Publications will be releasing a special magazine at the end of November titled "Best Of 2000". The magazine will feature all the hot feuds, matches and the best events that happened in the year 2000 so far. Also in the magazine will be a special section were all fans can send in their votes for the best match, best wrestler, etc and all results will be published in the March 2001 WWF Magazine. The "Best Of 2000" mag will be on newsstands on November 21st.
The Hardy Boyz are scheduled to be on Byte This October 5...could this indicate a title win...??
On Monday's RAW, Commissioner Mick Foley made three huge matches for Unforgiven. In the main event, The Rock puts his World Wrestling Federation Championship on the line against Kane, Taker and Chris Benoit in a Fatal Four Way Match. In a contest which will be officiated by Foley himself, Triple H goes one-on-one with Kurt Angle. Plus, Edge & Christian will put their Tag Team Titles on the line against the Hardy Boyz.
Lita and Ivory are expected to keep their feud for a while. Expect Lita to keep winning against Ivory until Chyna breaks away from her Latino Heat angle. Lita and Chyna are expected to feud in a while for the WWF Women’s Championship.
The Edge & Christian vs. Hardy Boyz match at Unforgiven will be announced as a steel cage match for the tag team titles, instead of normal tag team match. No word on when it will be made official, but I would venture to guess it would be on Smackdown! or next Monday's RAW.
At www.wwfsuperstars.com the current poll is for your favorite entrance video, right now the Hardyz are ahead of the Rock by 1%, so go vote now: here!

Ivory was fine after taking a botched moonsault from Lita during their match on RAW. She was very lucky, however, that she wasn't seriously injured. Lita's shin landed across Ivory's throat, but she was able to get her arm there in time to block it. Lita's other leg landed above Ivory's head, so that wasn't a problem.

The Hardy Boys defeated The Dudley Boys to earn a title shot against champions Edge and Christian. Jim Ross mentioned in his Ross Report that this is rumored to be a "Steel Cage" match so expect some more build up in the next two weeks.
In a match to determine the No. 1 contenders for the Tag Team Title, the Dudley Boyz took on the Hardy Boyz, with Edge and Christian joining Jerry "The King" Lawler and Jim Ross on commentary. The action in the ring was high-paced and brutal, and both teams had many near-falls. After a bit, Edge determined it was time for an E.C.R.I. - an Edge and Christian Run-In! Edge nailed Buh Buh with his title, but Matt Hardy fell on top of the Dudley. The referee turned around in time to count a pinfall, declaring the Hardys the No. 1 contenders! Then, Edge and Christian cleared the ring of the Hardys, but still had to deal with the Dudleys. After knocking out Christian, the brothers nailed Edge with a 3D through a table!
Ivory Mocks Lita
Lita's Twist of Fate
The Hardy Boyz become No. 1 contenders!
A perfect moonsault...actually it looked a little off to me...
-Originally upper management had to be convinced to bring Lita in because her resume photos didn't convey her look as being in line with the type of women the WWF pushed.
Evident of their match tonight, Lita and Ivory are expected to begin a great feud over the WWF's Women's Championship. Despite previous rumors, Chyna is not expected to get involved in the Women's Division for the same reasons, as before, she would simply dominate the division. Look for Trish Stratus and Stephanie McMahon to be pushed in the division.
Date: Sunday, Sep. 10

-Lita easily got the biggest pop of the night in this one. Trish got good heat for telling Denver they were a bunch of "drooling, second-class losers." Good match, lots of action. Lita hit the moonsault to score the pin.
Winners: Hardy Boyz and Lita

When Mona comes into the World Wrestling Federation, she will probably not be pushed right into the Right to Censor Angle. Look for her to possibly be "brainwashed," much like Val Venis. Although this is not confirmed, it would be a great way to keep the RTC angle going. Upon her joining, look for Mona to open up a feud with Lita, and possibly Ivory.
Tonight’s Raw is War will be one of the largest yet. With the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin floating around and several rumors of who the Driver of the car was, we are surely to see WWF get huge ratings.
Not Confimed: Edge/Christian should see the Hardys emerge as top tag team contenders.
The WWF is still testing the waters on whom to feud Lita with now that the women's division has been relaunched the women's title is getting action in the form of title matches. Jacqueline was considered as was Ivory, but nothing has been settled just yet. There is also a good chance the WWF will restart the Trish/Lita feud just because the reaction from the fans was arguably the best for a female/female angle. In any case, any and all of the above angles will only serve to kill time before either Nora Greenwald (Mona) or Tori are ready to provide opposition to Lita. Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley will not directly be involved in the women's division.
I am not sure if this mean Lita will be on the show or not, but I will try to keep you updated:
The Hardy Boyz and Federation Womens Champion Lita battled Lo Down and Ivory in HEATS main event. Matt, Jeff and Lita controlled the match until Litas attempt at a flying body press failed when DLo executed a powerslam. After Ivory took the boots to Lita and nearly pinned her, all six competitors hit the ring and started a wild brawl, which suited the Hardys and Lita. The aerial tactics of Matt, Jeff and Lita were like poetry in motion until DLo nearly pinned Jeff with Sky High. The Hardys and Lita rebounded with a triple clothesline on Chaz and DLo. Lita then hit a hurricanrana on DLo to send him out of the ring, where he was met with a Jeff Hardy swan dive. Alone in the ring with Ivory, Lita hit the Twist of Fate to set up for her finisher, the moonsault, to gain the win for her team!
More photos:
Side note: there were many "Lita, Lita..." chants this match, as usual. Pics and videos will be up later.
Lo Down are on their way to the ring along with Ivory and they are teaming up against the Hardy Boyz and Lita for the last match of the show. Ivory has some pants on like Lo Down, and Lo Down has shirts on that say "Ain't We Great" and "The Next Level" Ivory takes the pants off, and Lo Down takes the shirts off and the Hardy Boyz and Lita come out to a huge pop! Lita is the WWF Women's Champion, and Ivory is a former Women's Champion. The match is on, and Matt starts it off in the ring against Chaz and Chaz gives Matt some right hands, and then he chokes away on Matt as he backs him into the ropes. Chaz whips Matt off the ropes, and Matt ducks a clothesline and then he gives Chaz a number of right hands.
Winners: Lita and the Hardy Boyz
